They are currently selling the strains: Special Sauce, Boax, Therapy, and Otto. Prices are on the high end, and start at $10 for one gram and go all the way up to $200 for an ounce.
Fortunately for me, they sell a sample pack that has one gram of each strain for $40. Again. Super steep, but at least I get to try all the strains.
Ordering was ok, but paying wasn’t so smooth. As I’ve said before, payment problems are going to be common among most hemp / cannabis sellers right now. Even though these businesses are technically legal, most banks and lenders aren’t willing to provide services to them.
So I had to complete the order and then pay with Venmo. It’s a bit of an adventurous way to buy hemp to say the least.
I ordered Sunday night, March 11th. And when I paid via venmo, but forgot to actually complete the order on the website, I immediately got an email that let me know what to do.
Actual shipping time was pretty amazing.
- I immediately got a confirmation message via text message (had the option for email too).
- I got a “shipped” message the next morning.
- I got a “your order is out for delivery” message on Wednesday, March 14
- Final “your package has been delivered” message the same day when the package arrived.
The package didn’t smell at all, and the shipping return name was “Evansville Cbd” with an address in Evansville Indiana. To me, this is discrete, but I understand that it might not be for others.
The problem here was that the 4 1-gram packages were all stuffed into a medium, non-padded, non-corrugated cardboard envelope. This is a firm/thick stock, flat envelope with no padding at all. So even if the trip from Indiana had been the most gentile journey ever, the buds would have still gotten smushed.
Each gram was packaged in a plain, small smell proof zipper baggie. The baggies had a simple label with a hand written strain name only. These baggies are very common (in all sizes), and seem like a really good option for freshness and odor control. They are great, but it would be nice to see some more colors and branding come in to the space.
As for the initial look at the flower, the baggies are clear, so I was able to see them all together. And my honest to goodness first reaction was actually that they all looked the same. After closer inspection, that is obviously not true, but the hazy clear plastic, combined with the way the buds were flattened kind of made them all look the same.
Testing Grade 0/10
Safety testing: No (-5)
Potency Testing: No (-3)
Terpene Analysis: No (-2)
First Smell 9/10
I opened up each baggie one at a time and gave them the initial sniff test. All of these strains smelled REALLY great. But here are some specifics.
Special Sauce: Very sweet and floral with some gas/diesel notes.
Boax: This strain had a sweet, earthy, almost kind of tangy smell
Therapy: Very sweet and floral with citrus notes.
Otto: Sweet, earthy with some gassy notes.

Bud Quality 8/10
I’d say the bud quality for all of the strains is the same. It lost points for being flattened (bad packing) and because the trimming could have been better.
Vaping Taste 8/10
- Special Sauce: Sweet and fruity with a bitter aftertaste . Almost like tangerine rind.
- Boax: Very earthy and fruity tasting. Very enjoyable.
- Therapy: Very sweet and floral with citrus notes. This one really does taste like grapefruit to me. But without the bitter taste.
- Otto: Sweet, earthy, with citrus notes.
It’s pretty hard to distinguish the different effects here, but generally, all 4 varieties had a decent amount of CBD. Unfortunately, there was no testing information. Just the CBD percentages given in the general product descriptions (in the low teen range).
All varieties were great/ enjoyable.
Overall Value 6/10
Given the other products that are available right now, if you’re going to get more than an eighth, you’re going to get a way better value with something like Suzy Q from Tweedle Farms or Cherry Wine from CBD Hemp Direct.
I’d say this product is on par with the flower from Empire Extracts.
It’s good, but the price is steep.
Thanks everyone for reading. And as always. Thanks for reading, and be well.
